Admissions FAQ'sDo your graduating seniors go onto college? Do your graduating seniors go onto college?Many of our graduates have continued their education at places like Peace College, Louisburg College, North Carolina State University, UTI, Wake Tech, and The School of Communication Arts. Every graduate has different goals, and through our Advising Program, teachers are able to work alongside students and parents, helping them to prepare for the most realistic, appropriate path. Do you provide transportation?Our families utilize carpooling as a means to coordinate travel to and from school. We connect families who live in the same zip code and also provide them with resources for travel services. Do you have any after school clubs?High school students may join Student Council, which meets after school. Our middle school and high school athletic teams practice after school during season. Fridays, students participate in clubs of their choice from 2:25-3:15. Clubs change every six-weeks and are run by faculty. Some clubs have included Science, Green Thumb, Play Doh, Dodgeball, and many other Sports Teams during these times. How much homework do students usually have?Our homework hall allows for our students to begin and in many cases, finish the majority of homework assignments. During homework hall, students may also seek out help from the assigning teacher. Language Arts and math are assigned every night, and Content/Elective courses assign homework 3 out of 4 nights. Is lunch provided?Our cafeteria is equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, and some vending machine options. Students are required to bring their lunch; however, the Fletcher Parent Organization sponsors monthly activities where students can purchase, in advance, lunch from local restaurants. Do you provide Occupational and Speech/Language therapists?We do not have therapists on staff. We are happy to provide a place during the day for students to meet with outside therapists on campus.
