Elementary and Middle School NutritionDuring a one-semester course in nutrition, students are introduced to kitchen safety and nutrition, kitchen conduct, and basic procedures. Healthy eating habits are emphasized as students learn the basic food groups and have fun with daily project creations. High School Culinary ArtsHigh School students at TFA are offered two levels of Culinary Arts classes as electives. Health and nutrition are emphasized as students learn kitchen skills and safety. Food preparation and menu planning studies culminate in a variety of meal and serving opportunities at school functions. |
